Darius Hockaday is an experienced marketer and business strategist with diverse experience in working with small businesses and entrepreneurs. From Hagerstown MD, Darius found that entrepreneurs are creating fresh and innovative ideas, yet often lack the support to build and maintain them. As a solution, he decided to create Hockaday & Company to be a resource and safe haven for entrepreneurs to grow their businesses effectively and efficiently.  

Darius founded Hockaday & Co. in 2019 during his undergraduate studies at Temple University in Philadelphia. Beginning as a resource for students and young professionals to grow within their entrepreneurial endeavors and financial literacy, he quickly expanded the brand to the community in supporting small businesses. Darius then acquired his degree in marketing and continued his experience working within Corporate Finance for years with the intention of applying his experiences to everyday interactions with clients. Now, he has a passion for serving the community and applying his marketing and strategic expertise to allow businesses to grow and fulfill their goals with peace of mind.  

In his free time, Darius enjoys traveling, eating at new restaurants, fitness, and playing with his pup, Benny.

Tahir brings extensive expertise in strategic planning, process improvement, and product management to Hockaday & Co. He has successfully guided numerous organizations towards achieving their goals and maximizing their potential. His comprehensive understanding of information systems allows him to identify opportunities for growth, streamline workflows, and drive operational excellence.

Tahir graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Information Systems and a minor in Data Analytics, where he learned to be a champion for technological innovation with a data-driven approach. Tahir loves to travel and has a goal to visit every country!

Chris Reynolds is a dedicated and highly motivated individual with a solid commitment to leveraging project management, sales management, and business analysis skills to achieve organizational goals and success. Chris holds passions for experiences and collaborations which allows him to be very knowledgable in all aspects of general business. Coming from a diverse sales background of managing ongoing clients, fostering relationships with customers, and engaging in account planning/strategy, Chris is dedicated to ensuring that you will receive valued care working with Hockaday & Co.

Chris is originally from the Greater Boston area but currently resides in Dallas TX. Like his other peers at Hockaday & Co, he also graduated from Temple University with a B.A in Sports Management where he was a member of Minorities in Sports as well as the National Association of Black Accountants. One fun fact about Chris is that a lifelong goal of his is to travel to all 30 NBA stadiums, currently he has visited 12.

My name is Christopher Douglas Jackson, and I am a current master's candidate attending the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. I also graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Development from the College of Education and Human Development and a minor in Sports Management. I am passionate about all things DEI, BIPOC men's health and mental well-being, and the intersection of these areas with college and professional athletes. My areas of knowledge include leadership development, DEIJ, organization/systems thinking, and overall organizational wellness.
